You are invited to partner with the earth and the Eco-Lúnasa Festival to celebrate music, art, ecology, sustainable living, renewable energy, and world culture.

This innovative festival is lreland's premier environment event in 2009 and recognises the growing public awareness of the urgent need to tackle climate change.

We envisage an empowering celebration, festival and Eco fair where we all become an active part of a positive solution for one weekend in the splendid setting of the Slieve Bloom Environmental Park.

In essence festival goers will be supporters of a number of environment benefiting charities by attending what will be Ireland's first carbon neutral festival... a two-day event promoting music, art and healthy living for people and the planet.

The festival will feature world music and dance, an organic food fair, renewable energy displays and workshops, vendors, exhibitors, inspiring events and speakers.

This event is being organised through a team effort of people and businesses embracing and overcoming the environment and social challenges all around us.Solutions happen when we take responsibility for our lifestyle/community, together we have the power! Some individuals are investing through concern for society, for the environment and for future generations; our children. We feel confident there are enough committed individuals and firms to create a ground breaking Eco Lúnasa fair and festival August 2009.
